Understand that most niche can become successful and can be more competitive than other. So what you should do as a new blogger is find what you have an interest in and dive down as far as possible for niche topics with low comp topic keywords.

This step is very critical because taking the time to do topic research before build any website will give you the best chance of success. Also this will give you a full rage of ideas to write about when you start. Try and compile a minimum of 60 topic keywords. This will set the direction of your website before you start writing. Target low competition topic phrases that will give you the best pening for ranking higher.

Once you have your topic keywords now you want to start thinking about you websites name. I advises this after get topic ideas because sometime you can pull inspiration form some the topic. After landing on the name of the your website you will need to setup a domain. Namecheap is a great place to by a domain for a very good cost. Next is hosting, getting personal hosting can seem like a very technical thing but a quick Youtube search will help.

Now hosting and domain is setup you want to chose your CMS or (Content Management System). I recommend WordPress, this is the largest website platform for web development. The answer to this question starts before any steps are taken to build your website. This question might be existential to you personally but it’s one that needs to answer. Why do you write? To make money? Express your opinions? To promote your business and build your brand? Do you want to create a stronger connection with customers or subscribers by adding more interesting content to your existing website? To give your creative instincts an outlet?
